Day Two.

Second day and how is it going ? Well quite good really, the fasting day gave me a loss of 4 1/2 pounds. I am under no illusion that this was a lot to do with water loss but still a boost to see the numbers. I continued the fast until dinner time because surprisingly I did not feel hungry at all.



I had a lovely chicken stir fry flavoured with lemon and mustard midday and my usual breakfast plate for my evening meal. Whenever I don’t know what to have this is a great plate of clean and nourishing food consisting of blueberries, cucumber, Avocado, Apple and a protein ( today it was sliced chicken).


I did cheat and have a mince pie, I know I should resist but I have come to think that the occasional treat is worth the sacrifice.

I did day 3 of week 5 couch to 5K and ran a full 20 minutes non stop, a great achievement for me. This plan is easy to follow and so good at increasing stamina and strength. I am so glad I found it. So far today I have done 10,250 steps (including the run) so have achieved one of my goals for today.

I went to bed at 10.30 last night so got a reasonable amount of sleep, still not my optimal 8 hours. This is all measured by my lovely Fitbit band which gives me lots of info. I hope to be in bed by 10.30 again tonight so see what tomorrow brings.
