Double digits, 10 days….

What a lovely day today ( apart from the damp weather). Eating wasn’t too bad either. I had a nice breakfast of avocado, cucumber, blueberries, red grapes and a freshly boiled egg. Surprisingly I really enjoyed it so maybe the breakfast brick wall is crumbling.


Lunch was a salad sandwich ( I know bread again but it was homemade).

I did have birthday cake which was made with almond flour and coconut flour and not wheat and I didn’t have the icing so no massive sugar hit. Oh, I also had a glass of proscetto to toast the birthday girl (the little ones only had water with their cake).

Dinner was a help yourself fajita meal, for me it consisted of chicken cooked on the barbecue with salad in a corn fajita wrap. I left all the cheese, cream, quacomole and barbecued haloumi for the others. It was followed by a little gluten free chocolate cake/pudding. Altogether really nice and not too far off my eating plan.

Although I didn’t do my run today I did do the strength and flexibility podcast as well as a brisk walk. I managed a step total of just over 12,000 so felt good about that despite the little hiccups with food. Just 2 more days to weigh in so will see how the food and exercise has affected my weight. I am still fairly achey when I get up so know that I am not eating as well as I should but am slowly steering towards it.
