I woke up this morning not feeling the best, another restless night adding to the others. I was achy and had pain across the tops of my feet again. Maybe the running is not helping. As usual I felt so crap that I was resolved to improve my eating, I have got lots of good stuff in the house so will try and just eat simple AIP . I don’t think I have been drinking enough water lately so maybe need to get a grip on this as well. I think today I will just do some easy walking, which will hopefully help with the foot pain. I have had to resort to painkillers just so I can get around, something I try hard to avoid.
I decided not to have breakfast so had an early brunch of avocado, cucumber, blueberries and bacon. This was filling and satisfying.
As planned I did a long but not too brisk walk and some shorter ones later in the day. My feet were occasionally still a little painful but manageable. I got in my 10,000 steps goal ending up with over 11,600 steps.
I have been looking up recipes that cover both AIP and keto, not an easy combination. Because of the need to increase fat consumption on keto a lot of cheese, cream and other no-no foods tend to be included. If I go down this route I will have to be hyper careful with my choices and will probably need to do meal planning so I know what I need to eat in advance and ensure I have ingredients available. I feel that to succeed I will have to know what is on offer at start of day then measure and prepare ingredients ready to put together for each meal. The whole concept is “easy”, carrying it out may be a step too far….
